Who are the Canadians? - from a Nordic perspective

Welcome to an event about Canadian Nationality, Identity and History. Come and be inspired by three speakers and enjoy time for networking in the newly upgraded Danish Church of Toronto.

Program: 

1. "The history of Canada from a Nordic perspective" - a lecture by Dr. Michael Böss, professor of Canadian history at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, who published the book "Nationale Drømme" about the history of Canada in August 2022.

2. "Neighbours in the north." 
A presentation by the Danish Ambassador to Canada, Hanne Fugl Eskjær, about the actual relations between Canada and the Nordic countries

3. "Business is relations - Canadian and Nordic corporations in a global world." 
A presentation by Len Kleine, Chairman of the Swedish Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Toronto. 

After presentations, there will be an opportunity for sharing experiences on the event's theme, a time for networking, and a reception with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. 

Time: Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 4:30 pm. - 7:30 pm.

Venue: The Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto, 72 Finch Ave. W., M2N 2H4, Toronto.
Free parking behind the church and close to Finch St.
