The board had a planning meeting in August and came up with some fresh ideas to spark new interest in our church. We need to change how we do some things and make our church more relevant, provide more culture, and get our children and grandchildren involved. We are not just a church, but also a culture centre.

We will have a special meeting on Saturday October 29 at 1 pm to help make these plans. An invitation will be posted mid-October encouraging you to come with new and different ideas to share. One focus will be for us to ask our own children and grandchildren - the next generations - to name one or two events that they would like to see at the church that would make them take part. We need to think outside the box, and get younger people involved as they are our future. The more ideas there are to share and get involved - the better it will be for all of us.
