About the church:
The Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto was founded in 1957 to serve the many Danes and new immigrants here at that time. The building on Finch Ave was built in 1965, and we incorporated in 2015. We are fully self-funding, and a registered Canadian charity serving not only our members in the GTA, but also most of southern Ontario as we are the only remaining Danish church in Eastern Canada. Our mission is to provide opportunities for worship and fellowship through our regular church services in Danish and English, as well as many other inclusive cultural activities throughout the year, including our Summer and Christmas Bazaars, lectures, activity clubs, Danish lessons and more. We are looking at expanding our programs to serve everyone in our community and be more culturally inclusive. For more information, please check our website at www.danishchurchtoronto.ca.
