The Danish Queen Margrethe II can celebrate her 50ths anniversary as Queen this year. And after Queen Elizabeth passed away, Queen Margrethe became the longest reign Queen in the world. The Queen is also the Protector of Danish Churchs Abroard and Danish Seamen’s Church (DSUK).

This week the Danish Church received a present from DSUK: the new official portrait of the Danish Queen to hang in the Royal Hall at the church. The Danish photographer Per Morten Abrahamsen is the photographer of the portrait. Thanks.
