Wedding or Blessing of marriage

You can be married at the Danish Church, even if your partner is not Danish. We offer weddings in both Danish and English.

You can contact pastor Kirstine Rasmussen to arrange the wedding and schedule a meeting.
We conduct weddings under Canadian law, which means that before the wedding, you need to request a Certificate for Marriage from your local Registrar. Bring this certificate to the meeting.

Please note that it typically takes at least a month from the time you request the Certificate for Marriage for it to be issued. Therefore, be sure to contact your local Council’s Registrar well in advance.

The wedding fee can be found here. Extra fees will be charged for an organist and a soprano.
