The Danish Church is celebrating "Fastelavn" this coming Sunday. It is an old Danish tradition starting the period of Lent with beating the barrel, kids in costumes, "Sweet fastelavns-buns," and family service.

At the service, the new family choir will sing the songs they practiced two weeks ago. It was a lot of fun; kids and adults participated in the choir!

The Fastelavn celebration is Sunday, February 26, at 10:30 am. Welcome!

Everybody can join the choir, conducted by our music coordinator Brigitte Bogar: the next time they meet is March 19.
